Homework for the Week of March 11

*No regular homework!  Enjoy the Snow trip!

Here are the final checklists:

Remember that I use the checklist directly to make  a grading sheet.  It is not a mystery in terms of what needs to be on your board, and what expect in each section.

On the day of the Science Fair, Wednesday, March 20, you will start by presenting your project to your block class.  Then we’ll invite other classes, and families to come see you and your project after snack.  I’ll post the schedule when the date is closer.

And one day, I’d like to see someone create a science fair project from this picture.  As a friend of mine said about it, “Knowledge is power.”

tiff is my hypothesis inconclusive because you don’t really know that my flower is dead, but there might be more dead leaves than some flowers?

Hi Asya! Your hypothesis cannot be inconclusive. However, when you address your hypothesis in your Analysis, you can say that you couldn’t definitively tell if the flowers had died, but you INFERRED from the presence of more dead leaves/petals if a flower had died. You could also say that you could not completely test your hypothesis because you were not certain when a flower had died. Does that made sense?
