Musical Notes:

“Human Behavior” is a song by Icelandic singer, Björk.  It was her first solo single from her 1993 album, Debut.  The song reflects upon the relationship between humans and animals, in particular human emotion from a non-human animal’s point of view.  The song and music video were inspired by the videos made by naturalist David Attenborough who has starred and narrated in many nature documentaries.

“Sea Change” is an American rock artist, Beck’s 8th album.  Although the album is not entirely acoustic, it diverges from some of his other albums which include a lot of sampling and experimental sounds.  The major themes throughout the album include heartbreak, loneliness, and solitude.
