Exploring the Bottom of the Sea

This is just a bragging post:  My good friend, Eliza Strickland, is a science writer at IEEE Spectrum which is a magazine for engineers and scientists.  With her amazing job, she has the opportunity to travel and report on science happenings all over the world.  Last summer, in addition to going to Japan to learn more about the nuclear disaster at Fukushima after the devastating earthquake/tsunami (see her article here), she also spent a week on a boat hovering over the Marianas Trench, the deepest trench in the ocean.  Recently, she was on FoxNews, sharing her story!  Click here to watch it.

So if you like writing AND you’re interested in science…consider a future career as a science writer!
