Block II: Tuesday, Jan. 10

Block III: Thursday, Jan. 12

2)  Study for QUIZ on Light

Quiz Dates:

Block I: next Tuesday, Jan. 17

Block II: Friday, Jan. 13

Block III: next Wednesday, Jan. 18

Here’s what you need to know for the quiz:

  • What are the wavelength, amplitude, and frequency of a wave?
  • The Electromagnetic spectrum- Which types of waves have lower/higher energy?  (You don’t need to memorize each type, but you need to be able to explain which types have a higher/lower energy based on their frequency.)
  • Colors
    • How do pigments work?
    • How do filters work?
  • How to measure angles of incidence/reflection.
  • How to predict the path of a reflected ray.

    Heeeeeeeeey Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiff,
    I was wondering when the light activity book is due for Block II. My assignment log says it is due tuesday, but this week’s block schedule says I don’t have science tuesday. Help Me! I have school tomorrow!!!

    Tiff when you say (You don’t need to memorize each type, but you need to be able to explain which types have a higher/lower energy based on their frequency.) For example red has a lower frequency than green or ultra violet light has more energy than visible light OR BOTH????
