The Maker Faire is happening this weekend! Don’t know what the Maker Faire is? It’s the largest DIY (do-it-yourself) festival where you’ll see crafts, robots, art, and tinkered STUFF made by amateurs and professionals. It’s the place were cool geeks get to show off their goods…there’s a life-size mouse-trap, giant cupcake cars, flaming robots, and a giant steel bird that moves by a bicycle crank. You can learn how to print your own fabric, make your own soap and do needle-point. And let’s not forget the science end…learn how to make model DNA or a 3-D with clay, build robots, and make physics equipment like ping-pong ball cannons! (Yes, just tell your parents that it’s for science.)
