www.72hours.org An excellent site from SF County to help you get prepared to survive the 1st 72 hours after a major emergency when there may not be city/state/federal assistance.

The Red Cross- Preparedness Fast Facts:  Here’s a document on Earthquakes

AlertSF– Get emergency information texted to your phone

SF Fire Department NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Response Teams)- They have some good resources like this Family Disaster Plan document, and they have trainings (not sure what the minimum age is)
