“The 6th Sense” is a song by the hip hop artist and actor, Common (aka Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr.) from his 2000 album release, Like Water For Chocolate.  The title of the album comes from  the novel of the name title by Laura Esquivel.  The phrase “Like water for chocolate” refers to someone who has reached their boiling point (in many Latin American countries, hot chocolate is made with water instead of milk.)  According to Wiki:

“The song’s lyrics discuss afrocentricity, hip hop culture and various social issues. “The 6th Sense” begins with an introduction in which Common states “the revolution will not be televised, the    revolution is here” referencing the famous Gil-Scott Heron song named “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.”

  1. Allison says:

For number 1 on the sixth sense, do you need to name them with techinical terms? The diagram in the reading only says what they dectect. So do we just say what they detect then receptor. EXAMPLE: Pressure receptor.

  2. tifftai says:

just work with what the reading gives you. pressure receptor is fine.
